Issue #51 would be issue 200 of the old series. So do you think Marvel will milk that cow?

I think Peter David should just make it a #600 issue. I mean, why not, y'know?

Probably, Marvel is just a bunch of greedy, money hungry wolves.

I find it disgusting all the renumbering Marvel is doing. I bet they wait till this series gets up to #149 and then they'll reboot the book for a sales hike. I would boycott the book if that was done.

Marvel doesn't count minis in renumbering,I think?
Both Wolverine and X-Force are very far from big round three digit numbers.

x-force in around the 150's
Wolverine is near 300

They should renumber X-Factor to 200. Then retroactively renumber X-Force according to New Mutants numbering, so that it will be like... 260. Then retitle it New Mutants. And then add all of the numbers together for Uncanny, Legacy, New Mutants, Wolverine and X-Factor so it's around 1500, then continue to publish all of them as rotating creative teams on a weekly Uncanny X-Men book Kicked off with an arc by Damon Lindeloff and John Cassaday.
It is also free.
And it stars Sage as the new Watcher.
You're welcome, Marvel.

Peter David's current run has zero to do with the original series. It was rightfully launched at issue one.
Please continue with the current issue count.

So was his first run on x-factor, but they didn't give him a Number 1 then.

The current X-Factor is awesome. The last two issues have been especially great.

I don't think they will, because going from #50 to #200 would mean two consecutive anniversary issues.
BTW, who was the genius who couldn't wait X-factor to reach #150 for it to be cancelled?

Haha. Wow. You are quite the drama queen over something that doesn't even remotely matter.
But on another note, it's not the renumbering that is stupid, but restarting from #1. It's good that they brought a book like Thor back to #600. It's a legacy book, as it should be.

Perhaps if we jumped the numbering to #200, then the next issue could be #199 and we continue to count backwards, confusing everyone. I would like that.
My dream is to produce a limited series that starts out, "#1 of 5," then have the next issues read, "#2 of 4," #3 of 3", #4 of 2," and #5 of 1"
Remember, I was writing the New Universe back when we canceled the entire line by saying, "#32 in a 32-issue limited series."

I'd like it if the numbering changed to 200, but we're quite a way off from an X-Factor renumbering.
500 is the minimum threshhold, as indicated by Amazing Spider-Man and Fantastic Four, and I'd think that titles like Captain America, or even Daredevil would get a look in first.
