If you happened to run into them in real life, which villians physical appearance would scare the crap out of you?

Boogeyman.
No flaming head, no spikey armor, just a fat guy in a vest who tries to throttle kids to death, then decides it's more fun to ruin their lives instead, then murder their parents in front of them, pausing only to dismember his way through the occupants of gridlocked New York traffic.

That guy will straight up ruin your day.

Holocaust. 8 or 9 feet tall, see though armor with a weapon for a hand barley containing crackling with eneergy with the remains of a mad tempered skeleton.

Mojo also gets pretty high rankings for me, as does Lifeform.

Sabretooth. when i think of tension filled storylines, he springs to mind first. he's borderline a horror character because of his brutality. what could be scarier than some guy hunting you down on your birthday for fun?

There are a number of worthy candidates-the Scarecrow, Mister Hyde, Mephisto, the Marauders, the Green Goblin since his return after the Clone Saga-but my personal favorite has to be Psyko, from the Sleepwalker comics. Here are some pictures:

In terms of appearance: the Brood, Mojo, and MODOK. With MODOK I wouldn't help but yelling "WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR HEAD?!"

In terms of reputation: Sabretooth (for reasons mention by Monty), Bullseye (the man could kill me with anything within arms reach), Sinister (creepiest mad scientist out there) and Thanos (the dude will do anything to impress his skeleton girlfriend).

Slightly off topic, but is it just me or is every major Marvel villain (and even most heroes) over six feet tall? In a dark alley, being only 5'10", most of the villains would tower over me
