Wolverine.. the shaman?

I just wrote an article showing how Wolverines story is basically that of a shaman. Does anybody else agree?

Wow I thought that was actually very good. The way it started out I thought it was just another Wolverine hate rant. I even thought you were crazy with this title, but slowly you won me over.

While I can't personally confirm that that was what Len Wein was thinking when he created Wolverine it does pose some interesting claims about Wolverine's popularity through the desires of our own psyche.

I too doubt that it was intended when he was created but I do genuinely think it has something to do with his popularity.
