If Mark Harmon could buff up enough, I'd like to see him!
Richard Dean Anderson!

Neither of them are broad enough or have enough arm hair. rwsmith agrees with me on this.

Terry O'Quinn.

I was reading a Wizard from back in 1995 or something that casted Cable as Clint Eastwood... other than the fact Clint is 848 years old, it could work.
But... I guess the second guy?

Why wouldn't he be? hes basically the same trope as Terminator. Terminator & X-Men = monies.

Clint Eastwood

"You think you can kidnap Hope, punk? Do ya?"
As Deadpool so wisely noted, the obvious casting choice is Howie Long.

I don't know who Richard Dean Anderson is, but he looks exactly like Michael Choi's version of Cable in the Messiah War One-Shot.

Nah, Clint is totally Old Man Cyclops.
Out of the two choices, I suppose I'd have to go for Anderson. Lesser of two evils, I suppose.

No bad tv actors should play Cable.
I know he’s not all that tall, but what about Jason Stratham?

Haven't seen/read the thing.
Bah, Old Man Cyke and Bruce can share.
I know he’s not all that tall, but what about Jason Stratham?
The Stratham is too cool and he knows it.
Cable hardly cares.

Gerrard Butler??
lol
Richard Dean Anderson has the look(besides muscle), but i personally dont think he can come off serious enough to be cable.
honestly can't see any actor i know playing this role, but if i had to choose maybe daniel craig.

He'd have to be a tall mfer, unless Marvel is willing to do the reverse Wolverine and draw him shorter and shorter.
Hell cast the fat guy from the Law & Order spinoff. He'd have to lose a lot of weight but he's disheveled, 50, and tall.
