Sitcoms that are Farces VS Sitcoms that are semi serious.

Okay I would consider Shows like Friends, Fraiser, Cheers, Major Dad, Mad About You, MASH, and Sports Night, more serious Sitcoms where as Shows like The Office, and 30 Rock are complete farces

Great! Do you have a question there somewhere? I happen to prefer shows with a touch of seriousness (How I Met Your Mother) to the straighter comedies. However even the goofy ones like The Office have character moments that make me love them.

What cosmoboy is trying to say is that maybe you should read the announcement at the top of the forum page.

Put some thought into it. Starting up a thread with a one or two sentence summation of a thought isn't good enough. Do not just give a topic and then say "Discuss" or "Why". Also, do not provide only a link to somewhere else and nothing else as the whole post. If you want to talk about something, talk about it. Put some effort into it and make it a springboard for future conversation.

Asking for a list of sitcoms isn't really about conversation. It's about a list.

And how many threads did you start yesterday? Three? Don't take this the wrong way, but people tend to get tired of the same people starting endless threads.
