Alright, I'm really new to drawing, like one week new, so go easy on me..
I've been drawing a lot of hockey players lately because I read it's good practice, and I also have a little idea for a hockey comic(see post: Hockey "comic" idea..) I'm gonna attempt to create when my drawing skills get a lot better. So maybe like, in 5 years? heh..
I'm kinda embarrassed to post these but screw it, oh, and please ignore the writing, I don't know what I was thinking, haha. Edit: Sorry about the size, I don't know how to resize 'em.

Haha, thanks. Fully aware of how bad these drawings are, they are like 100 times better than what I was doing a week ago, so I'm satisfied. And I'm also satisfied no one made fun of me, heh.
I'm just gonna practice, practice, practice.

Yup, drew 'em class, how'd you know? lol. And the Montreal sucks one, the picture I used was from a Boston/Montreal game right after Milan Lucic kicked Mike Komisareks ass I think, so the words were fitting, haha. Are you a hockey fan?
Thanks about the soldier. I will try to add more to it, keyword: TRY! I'm not to good with legs yet, even worse than I am with the rest of the body, lol.

Here's my first attempt at sketching a setting:
I can see you put a lot of details but the perspective is slight off. Google perspective and vanishing points and you can pick up some great tips. Keep at it!

Thanks! I was so pissed I couldn't get it perfect. Reading about that right now.

I've been messing around with trying to write a story and learning to draw at the same time. So here are the first four panels of a writing/sketch exercise. Not much writing on the first page, lol.

Use a straight edge for the cityscape stuff. It'll help a LOT. Also try to keep a constant vanishing point.

Thanks man. I've been reading up on perspective and vanishing points and all that. And practicing. I didn't know anything about it when I made those houses/buildings.
