Found this on Comics Continuum. Mike's back doing covers. Don't get me wrong, I like Kevin Nowlans art, but give me Mike anytime.

Written by John Arcudi, art by Karl Moline, colored by Dave Stewart, cover by Mike Mignola.

Fray artist Karl Moline joins series writer John Arcudi and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola for a look through the eyes of a new recruit into the life of the B.P.R.D.'s resident firestarter, as Liz Sherman finds herself thrust from the sidelines to become the Bureau's super soldier in the frog war.

32 pages, $2.99, in stores on June 10.

Arg. Another month with only one HB release! Where's Witchfinder? Lobster? HB Library 3?!
I guess the upside is that we'll have some pretty amazing months later in the year.

When is this scheduled to come out? I'm sure I've read it somewhere but I've forgotten and am feeling too lazy to look it up.

another ditto on Hellboy Library Vol. 3...I know Scott mentioned it in one of his recent updates at darkhorse.com.

Has anyone heard a possible release date?

Hopefully this issue will be better than the previous two. From the cover I would say that it's a safe bet. However, I've never read Fray or seen the art on it. Anyone know if it's any good?

As for the HB Library 3...all I know is a few months ago Scott said in the "From the Editor" section on darkhorse.com that Mike has done a watercolor for the cover. Hopefully that means it will be released soon.

I wasn't hot on the first Frogs issue drawn by Herb Trimpe and saved by Guy Davis. However I loved John Severin's art on issue 2. The guys is in his late 80's and he's been drawing comics since the early 50's. I still feel he has the artistic chops. Look at that beautiful rendering. Any artist nowadays should be that good.

Here's some samples of Karl Molines artwork:

Am I the only one who thought Severin's BPRD stuff wasn't that great? The poses were kinda stiff and everything just felt sort of... itchy, to me. Uncomfortable to look at.

Oh, man. A BPRD story drawn by Karl Moline? That's pretty frickin' awesome. I love his art on "Fray." The Buffy season 8 comic began my love affair with Dark Horse, and subsequent obsession with the Mignolaverse, so this is a very happy marriage of artists.

I actually like it coming out every month , it gives me time to go to my local comic shop and to get enough money to get my other titles I'm reading.
