Did anyone see this skit in SNL tonight, I don't usually watch SNL but it was one and I was awake so I watched it. The cold open was great and the Rock's opening bit was great but what blew me away was the skit about the Rock Obama. Obam is meeting with three senators including McCain and I'm assuming the other character was supposed to be Biden.

Biden kept telling Obama played by Fred Armisen to get angry and when he does he turns into the Rock Obama. it was pretty funny.

Andy Samberg's Rahm Emanuel is fantastic.

Overall I'm enjoying tonight's show. Am LOVING Richard Dean Anderson in the ongoing arc with Forte.
The alien sports caster had me laughing a lot, too.

And anything with Kristen Wiig in it is gold to me.

Watching it as we speak. One of the funniest in a long time.

Yep. That was a great episode of SNL all around. The Rock has been great each time he hosts it. This has been a pretty damn good season in all so far for SNL. I like the new blood in the cast especially Moignahan. And Andy Samburg, Bill Hader, Will Forte, Keenan Thompson, and Kristen Wiig are really starting to shine. I think this is the best SNL has been since Will Farrell and Tracy Morgan left.

The only thing that could have made it better was if one of the calls during the cold open had suggested putting the money in a lock box. Though the Nigerian Prince call was damn funny.

Sigh, it would have been better if he actually was The Rock Obama, started combining Obama and Rock routines, instead of going the Hulk route. Funny, but kind of disappointing.

I'm not sure anyone can actually rip off Nigerian Prince gags. Unless you're ripping off the princes.

Y'know, the more I think about it, the more I liked the Hawaiian sketch the best. Maybe because it was the one closest to the Rock actually acting like the Rock.
