I'm interested in Kamen Rider, but don't know where to start

I've watched every Godzilla movie...

I've watched a whole lot of Ultraman...

I've watched almost everything Mazinger oriented...

I've watched both Super Sentai and Power Rangers up to date...

I've watched almost every Gundam series...


Now, I want to watch Kamen Rider (as many as possible), but I have no clue where to start...

So, if there are any fans in the area, I'd really like some help.

In my opinion only 3 series are especially good. Kamen Rider Kiva, Kabuto, and Decade. Forget the Dragon knight version. I'm pretty new to this myself. Also I'm very picky. I did alot of research before trying these. I would LOVE to see a well done english version of these, but I think any of these brought over would be changed too much.

Do a good version like this and you'll start something new and interesting.

Dragon Knight is no good ?

I liked Kamen Rider Ryuki , it was great to have so many riders and so many powers , Ouja was a cool villain.

I had watched from the start of the heisei series - Kuuga , Agito , Ryuki , 555 but lost interest at the beginning of blade and hasn't seen any of the rest - from blade , hikibi , kabuto , den-o & kiva. Only recently got back on track with Decade after i saw that first episode epic opening - how do you topped an opening like that with the shot of the kamen riders army getting decimated ?
That last shot of the dying ryuki dragon as it falls away to reveal decade was cool.

If you want to watch Kamen Riders , probably start with the newer series from Kuuga onwards , the older ones are kind of outdated. Black & Black RX were cool though since Black had Shadowmoon , probably the coolest kamen rider villain around. RX is the one where the US coped the suit to make their own Saban's horrid Masked Rider series.

For the older series , i would recommend the old movies , those are fun and gives you an idea of what each rider is all about.

Of course , kamen riders always have those short 10 minute special as well.

I prefer the older Showa stuff myself, although I started with Kabuto. It's best to do research on your own, and make a decision based on your preferences. Two big things for me are the fight scenes and characters, and Kabuto was too cocky in both areas for my taste. Blade is my favorite of the newer shows.
