Directly? I don't think so. But it does establish that Batman doesn't completely trust his teammates. (Unless I'm misremembering which JLA arc this is.)

IIRC, Batman had kept files on the weaknesses of his fellow Leaguers in case they were ever possessed or mind-controlled, but Ra's Al Ghul somehow got his hands on those files and used them against the League. The rest of the League essentially voted Batman off the island, Survivor-style. A few issues later(after the very cool Queen of Fables arc, IIRC), the situation was leading to low morale and general lack of trust among the team. Finally Superman and Batman resolved the situation(and allowed Bats back on the team) by revealing their civilian identities and encouraging the rest of the team(at least, those with secret idenities, sorry Aquaman and Wonder Woman) to do the same. And harmony reigned again over the JLA.
Until Identity Crisis. Oh well...

"Tower Of Babel" gives justification to "Identity Crisis", "The OMAC Project", "Sacrifice", "Crisis Of Conscience" and "Infinite Crisis".
