i friend of mine was talking about some confrontation/fight between Ares and Darkseid were Darkseid overpowered the God of War.

anyone know in what comic and what issue of said comic this happened?

This happened in 'Genesis', maybe issue 3 or 4?

Basically, Ares went into the Source and claimed the power of the Godwave, but Darkseid had a device that trapped him like 'a fly in amber' before he could fully ascend to being all powerful.
