I have been out of touch lately but did they pick an artist yet? Everytime I see Ordway Im reminded of how good he was but time seems to have taken away some magic. Maybe a stronger inker besides Wiacek would help.

Jesus Merino is the new artist.

He's the longtime inker of Carlos Pacheco, but he's been doing more and more solo pencilling work lately, and it's pretty incredible.

Also - great pick. The solo art of his I've seen has been quite good.

Mike Carlin announced it at a video during NYCC, and Matt Sturges has confirmed it and talked regularly about how good the art that he's seen from Merino is.

Had a funny anecdote about getting an email from Carlin that said "Really excited about Jesus".
