It is not my own art, I do not have these skills. And no I am not 11 years old!
I am showing off the art of a friend's 11 year old daughter with their permission

the girl has promise. With enough practice and encouragement, she could become a really good artist...

Oh, I totally agree! At 11, I think I was in the sixth grade and was doodling horrible figures most of the time. My parents didn't really encourage it, or recognize it, either, and that didn't effect me but support looks like it could be cool for this girl.
I think if anyone has any semblance of artistic ability at 11, it should definitely be groomed and not suppressed.

She has potential to be great! I don't know whether or not her friends and family members encourage her artwork, but a little encouragement can take you a long way. I should know. Tell her to keep at it and to draw as much as she can and not to let her talent wane over the years.
*wipes tear away* Reminds me of when I was a young lad.
