Which of these is the most hopeless scenario?

A). The Trix Rabbit getting some Trix cereal.

B). Charlie Brown kicking that damn football before Lucy pulls it away from him.

The Trix rabbit got Trix several times (he never got to eat them, because he would do something stupid but that's his own fault...or the writer's).

I HAVE seen t-shirts of Wile E. after eating the Road Runner, so in some universe somewhere, his belly got full.

The economy sucks, but eventually, they'll get it straightened out.

Charlie Brown never did, nor ever will, kick that football.

This is going back a ways, but I think Wile E. Coyote caught the Road Runner once with a giant robot coyote.

Obviously he got away, but for a moment he was caught.

Im going with the Trix cartoon magnets. Because you can never save up enough coupons to get the gifts before they change to another promotion.

As noted above, none of those scenarios is half so hopeless as Charlie Brown actually managing to kick that damn football before Lucy pulls it away.

By the way, what's a Trix Rabbit? I'm British and we don't have Trix here. Me confussed.

The Trix Rabbit has been the Trix mascot for decades. He's always trying to get some Trix using various disguises, but there's usually some obnoxious child that foils him and says "Silly rabbit! Trix are for kids!"

Here's a pretty typical commercial. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohS3biUqVK0)

The Trix Rabbit is a corporate selling tool for Trix breakfast foods. One of the insidious American traditions of piling sugar and chemicals first thing in the day into the ever hungry mouths of their bloated and obese children. Usually before administering to their kids the daily dose of Attention Deficit Disorder cocktail of drugs they require so they don't bounce off the walls from the sugar hit.

Eh, that's the nanny's problem. What do you expect? You think we raise our own kids???

I had several nannies as a kid (obviously... though having a nanny now would be kinda fun. Especially if she were a sexy nanny...) And I recall most vividly the one that would always insist on serving up a bowl of porridge every day. Often with some crispy bacon with a soft boiled egg. The toast cut into little 'soldier' strips for dunking. A rock melon, grapefruit or kiwifruit would be the side dish. It was a very satisfying way to start the day, and a lot better than a bowl of sugar that turns the milk purple. Also a lot better than my breakfast these days - a mouthful of orange juice and a cigarette...

Hee, I'm always amused when some cereal claims to have more nutrition than another. Applause, applause, you sprayed a bit more vitamins on your sugar coated grain!

howabout them double fudge poptoarts and a cuppa joe?

BTW how did this turn into a prefered breakfast thread?

I do agree, a kid who can't remember dancing with the little red haired girl is never ever gonna kick a football

One of those cartoons might be the one I remember - Road Runner & Coyote go thru a series of tubes, getting smaller until they come out about 1" high. They go back through the tubes, and the Road Runner ends up normal size - Coyote remains 1" high. He grabs the Road Runner around the ankle....and then looks up....and up.....until the Road Runner lets loose with a deafening BEEP BEEP! And the Coyote holds up a sign which reads, "Okay, wise guys. You always wanted me to catch him - NOW WHAT DO I DO??

Edit - yep. It's the first one. That one always cracked me up!!
