They talk about all the "disturbed sexuality" (Grant Morrison's words) in the Marston Wonder Woman, but I'll be damned if I don't see some of that in other characters as well:

That's "Doiby Dickles." Hands-down the most annoying sidekick ever. Why Green Lantern would put up with him all the time is beyond me. Of course, Golden Age Green Lantern's weakness was wood, so I'm guessing Doiby was the least of his problems.

I have that CATMAN comic. The lead story is one of the most weird, perverse superhero tales ever published.

For the curious, I think Americomics reprinted it somewhere.

Ghost Rider... from the early issues I expected him to be a leather clad flamer for most of his run. I guess they changed their minds and made him straight later.
