Did they...did they SERIOUSLY just spoil the DEATH of Carol Danvers in a frickin SOLICITATION?! When the book was "classified" in last months solicits?!!

The writer of the book sort of already spoiled it in interviews a while back.

It was already spoiled for everyone.

They're being too upfront about the death anyway. It's probably misdirection more than anything.

Carol's "death" is obviously not literal. She's in Dark Avengers and will be a big part of the book according to Bendis.

First Spider-Man 2099, now X-Men 2099, maybe there's hope for Doom 2099 after all!

It was already spoiled for everyone.

Well, obviously not. Not everyone wants to know what's coming, hence the fact I steer clear of forums and interviews for the most part. What the hell was the point in classifying last months solicits then?!

Carol's "death" is obviously not literal. She's in Dark Avengers and will be a big part of the book according to Bendis.

I thought they said in NYCC that she was going to New Avengers.

*sigh*

Well, atleast that's one book less I need to get a month. Moonstone?! Can't stand the woman! She's just like Emma Frost...except entirely unlikeable and with Kitty's powers...so wrong.

Ms. Marvel is Karla Sofen now. Carol Danvers "dies" in the sense that she lets go of that identity. Still in New Avengers.

Did anyone else notice that they called The Hood 'Parker Robinson' in two different solicits? He's Parker Robbins! C'mon! He's only been in like three books!

Hooray, finally vol. 9 of essential Spider-Man...

Also: When did Amazing Spider-Man family drop to 64 pages for the same price? That doesn't make much sense... (Well, from the reader's viewpoint, at least.)

The Sentry rips her head off, doesn't he?

'm pretty sure that was Morgan's head, not Ms. Marvel's.

Oh, and on the Incredible Herc cover, if anyone bothered to read the summary, it stated that Herc is dead and is in Hell, so those are all the ghosts of dead heroes.

Is anyone else pissed that the final chapter to Old Man Logan still isn't out?

Right now I'm averaging about $140 per month, and that's just with Marvel books. So 42 books. Huh. I would be picking up Guardians of the Galaxy, Nova, Cable, and X-Force, but I need to catch up. Still haven't read any Cap since I picked up the omnibus, but I guess I'll pick up the next 3 trades, and catch up on the subsequent issues.

Does anybody know when the Kick-Ass trade will be out. I want to read it before the film comes out, but my store is sold out of the single issues. Any info?

haha...the Kick-Ass arc isn't over yet. Once the arc is completed, we'll have an idea when the trade will be out. however, it seems like the issues are perpetually delayed. i love the stuff, but it's best not to wait for it. just put it on your pull list and be surprised when you get it. it's the best way!

No "Marvels: Eye of the Camera # 6" this month? It's been shipping regularly, hasn't it? Or did I just miss it?
I'm really looking forward to the Black Knight/Yellow Claw Masterwork, and I was going to order the Tales of Asgard series, but noticed it will have "modern coloring". Why? Kirby's art doesn't need anything but flat color. I can't see it selling any better with modern color, either.
