About five years ago I collected several DC books in trade--Gotham Central, Teen Titans, Green Arrow, Secret Six--but now it's pretty much just Dini's Detective Comics and Johns's Action Comics, with samplings of the Sinestro Corps War. What are some of the better DC books to come out in the last few years? Blue Beetle? Jonah Hex?

JONAH HEX, yes.

Blue Beetle is good, but is ending next issue.
Booster Gold is good, though Johns second arc dragged a bit.
Green Lantern, good like always. Reving up to the next big event. Pick up Green Lantern Corps too. Another great read focusing on the other lanterns.
Secret Six is back. The last issue was somewhat anti-climatic, but still good and disturbing.

Top of my head the green lantern books.

The Green Lantern books, Blue Beetle (yes, it's ending but pick up the trades), Secret Six, both Batman books.

Jonah Hex and the recent Tor miniseries by Joe Kubert are the two best recent DC books I've gotten my hands on.

Secret Six, Secret Six, Secret Six and Secret Six. Go grab every issue, it's absolutely fantastic. I've personally been enjoying Marv Wolfman's Vigilante as well, but it's a preferred reading taste, you can't go wrong with Secret Six.

My favorite titles right now are Secret Six, Booster Gold and the Green Lantern Titles. JSA is good as well, but going through a creative team change that may or may not be as good.

People have pretty much already beaten the obvious ones that are still coming out into the ground: those being Secret Six, Jonah Hex, and Booster Gold, so I won't repeat them (wait, I just did). That said, I would also second the recently launched R.E.B.E.L.S. series, which if the first issue is any indication should be quite enjoyable, as well as going back and checking out the recently canceled Manhunter series by Marc Andreyko.

I'm repeating these three again. Probably the best books at DC right now.

Jonah Hex?
JONAH HEX, yes.
DO IT.

I'd recommend this if you're into sci-fi, space-opera stuff. And, judging from your previous interest in the "Sinestro Corps War," you clearly are. Go check it out. Issue one hit the stands last week. It's easily accessible for new readers and the art is unspeakably gorgeous.

Secret Six!
(and the Legion of 3 worlds is pretty darn good, too!)

Month in and month out for 40 issues, Jonah Hex continues to blow the effing doors off of any DCU book out there. Why settle for anything less?
