I have been reading Ghost Rider, but just give me a break. The characterization of Johnny Blaze has been in the toilet since this series started. Even now judging from the solicits in May it says once again Johnny is depressed waiting for the world to end in a monastery. I know the current writer is good, but no one wants to read about this Johnny. Am I right, or do you actually think his current characterization is great? This guy makes Ms. Marvel seem like she is smart compared to him. Part of the reason this series will be canceled is because the creators dont know how to write the character.

Its supposed to be toilet bowl in the poll. Just my rage blinded me when I was typing.

I agree completely, I have no idea who this guy is in the current Ghost Rider comic but that isn't the Johnny Blaze that I came to be a big fan of years ago.

I don't know... current Johnnny seems to be the logical extension of a guy who has had his life cursed.

I've really never enjoyed Ghost Rider until Jason Aaron started writing. I'm familiar with the Johnny Blaze character, not an expert by any means, but the current direction seems fine.

The Hellfire-gun toting, smoking,shades-wearing Blaze of the '90s that teamed up with Ketch's Ghost Rider (to keep an eye on him/them) was my favourite character of that period.

But then he has been to hell and back (literally) so he can be cut some slack!
