Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa - Thoughts?

I REALLY enjoy his writing. Besides Millar's I can't think of another run on Fantastic Four that actually had me interested. I liked his Spectacular Spider-Man, and I loved the Dead of Night arc with Man-Thing.

So, underrated? I'd say so. What do you guys think of his writing?

Absolutely. I'm a huge RAS fan. I think his Spidey books were outstanding, well-crafted character pieces, and his Nightcrawler mini was excellent (which isn't often the case with X-Men solo minis). Check out the final issue in particular. THAT is how you write Mephisto, JMS. Mephisto should be one scary, evil MF.

Basically everything RAS writes I would probably pick up. He could probably do a 24-issue Impossible Man maxi-series and I'd want to read it.

I enjoyed his issue of Young Avengers Presents; I was a bit critical when it first came out, but I've definitely changed my mind about it since then. SI: Fantastic Four was a fun read, and The Stand has been excellent so far.

So basically I'd say he's pretty wonderful.

I've mainly just read his FF and Young Avengers work, but I'm definitely a fan. MK4 was an excellent series.

Seconded. I love everything I've read of his so far, which is nearly everything he's done at Marvel.

He's very under-rated. Hopefully he will get some more mainstream MU work or MAX titles soon.

I really hope RAS gets to eventually do something with Mephisto, since he was building to it in several of his titles.

Between that and Slott's Reckoning War, I'd be very happy.

I've yet to read anything he's written that I haven't enjoyed. RAS has really outdone himself with The Stand.
