Really? I remember back in the day when EA was the one always making douche moves. Now I find myself on their side half the time.

They're Number 2 while Activision is #1 these days.

Im still miffed that activision actually came out and said flat out they didnt want it because it couldnt be exploited each year.
Sad part is they are rubbing off on blizzard now and turning them into money whores ever since they joined forces. Not enough WOW has been merchandised to death and has over 11 million subscribers they do dumb stuff like charge money to change the sex of your character and have advertisements on the official WOW forums where you already have to be a paying subscriber to even access. Then they chop starcraft 2 up into 3 seperate games. And actually have the balls to charge 100 bucks a head to blizzcon, their own show about their products when they only put out a new game like every 3-4 years. But what are you gonna do? Money is what makes the world go round.
Maybe EA is getting tired of being the butt of everyones jokes and slowly trying to change stuff. They still got along way to go before they win me back but they are doing better Ill give them that.
Im just glad someone picked up brutal legend, its one of the few games coming out I would actually pay full retail price for when it launches.

I wouldn't be hard on them for all the WoW stuff. They make an assload of money off WoW associated things but have not done anything that actually effects the gameplay. Charging money to change the sex of a character isn't dumb if people are willing to pay it, and it doesn't change the game for me in any way.
50 bucks says Brutal Legend has reviewers the internet over talking about how great it is and how sad it is it doesn't sell.
Before the game even comes out.

I know it doesnt change the game or anything, but its still a long way off from when they used to be more about games and didnt care so much about exploiting everything to the fullest extent possible. Never used to nickle and dime people over minor things before. And they just keep making the game easier and easier.
