It kinda had a cliffhanger ending with a guy in bandages, is there a sequel to this book?

The ending is briefly touched on in HoH, but you can pretty much ignore HUSH: Returns

To offer a slightly more accurate response:

Yes, there was a sequel called Hush Returns (http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Hush-Returns-J-Liberman/dp/1401209009) by A. J. Liberman. Opinions may vary; I personally thought it sucked out loud.

It then had a second sequel which just ended recently, Heart of Hush (http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Heart-Hush-Comics-Hardcover/dp/1401221238/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1234339279&sr=1-1) by Paul Dini.

Hush Returns is widely reviled. It's a sequel in name only and because it features the title character sucking even harder than he did in the original Hush. Why is it bad? Well for instance it has the Joker crying on Penguins shoulder for his lost family, in front of an open fireplace no less. Just look it up read a synopsis and you'll be fine.

Heart of Hush gets alot of love, it's a decent five parter with a large role by Catwoman and alot of background on Thomas Elliot.

EDIT - in some ways Under the Hood is a sequel to Hush in that it follows up definitively on the Return of Jason Todd. It doesn't feature Hush himself or many of the same baddies though. But it's far better than the other post Hush trades for my money, e.g Broken City, War Games, Face the Face, As the Crow Flies, Death & Maidens etc. You can basically go from Hush to Under the Hood to Batman & Son and not miss anything too major. That will put you up to date, or on the way at least. www.batmantrades.com

Hush returns was so bad i cant believe that it was made maybe it would have worked as an Esleworlds but that's it.
I've never seen anyone get the Joker so wrong in my whole life which is weird considering how many variations there has been.

Batman: Hush is what got me into comics. The sequel was terrible dribble. Heart of Hush actually makes the character of Hush cool and its a well-written, well-drawn story.
