I'm so happy about this and X-Men Forever. With these titles as well as the X-Men and Wolverine First Class books, and Exiles, I have some good classic-style mutant reading ahead of me.

GeNext United sounds pretty good.
Sounds like we may see the kids of some of the Brotherhood/Freedom Force members.
And man, he sure does love using Beast when he gets the chance. Very cool.

Not a fan.
None of the characters ever caught fire for me.

Same here..No Name..no interest. Becka Munroe...her initials are B.M. I don't think its a coincidence. Colossus' grandson who is ready to be a hero but is an artist at heart? Deja vu?
I kinda of like Gambit/Rogues kid and Scott/Emma kid from The End but the others just drag it down too much. And then there's the whole set in the future but things don't seem so very different problem that irks me.

I bought the first issue of the first mini for the Patrick Scherberger art, but the characters were craptacular unimaginative, so it was the only issue I bought.

Truth to tell...this is way more interesting to me than XM-F...I don't know wot it is..the better-looking costumes, the more interesting-looking art? the basic premise/direction?...and I could not even stand the 1st mini, I read issue 1 off the shelf and did not sully my hands with the others, but this mini?...mmmm, I am somewot intrigued...go figure.

The team consist of heroes that Marvel basically tried to shove down our throat to try to like them. They are all so boring! They have no relations with each other, so I'm a bit curious to see how the team assembled. I can care less for this.

awww thats just family tradition
lol he's still not going to reveal any info on No-Name! What's he waiting for? To be greenlit for a seventh mini and then hold out until it's turned into an ongoing and then wait until the 50th issue to reveal her favorite plate at the Olive Garden.

A follow-up to GeNext...? Words fail me.

I said it before, and I'll say it again. The series is MOST LIKELY aimed at the all ages digest size market outside of the direct market. And it wouldn't surprise me if Marvel has thought making this series into an animated TV series or straight to DVD animated movie.

I don't like that they're the descendants of the X-Men, I'd have rather have a mostly fresh new cast. :x

This is a joke right? You aren't serious? Did they release the first GeNext in digest? I am still surprised this got green lit for a second mini, I don't understand the sales reasoning behind a book like this.

Yeah probably not.

Dazzler's miscarried alien fetus should crawl out of the Mojoworld sewer syetem Cassie-Nova-style and be their big bad.

Right?!
"Oh, a DAZZLER miniseries would never sell! HAHAHHAHAHA ROLLERSKATES!!!! ... ... ... So let's publish another Dreamboat CC mini instead! That's the ticket!"
Meanwhile, the Redwood forests of the Pacific Northwest weep in anticipation of their inevitable slaughter.

Hmm Bedazzler...not bad.
Ahh another CC mini-series. I am one step closer to that X-men Marvel adventures title written by the man, the myth, the legend.

That's because a Dazzler mini series would NOT sell, no matter how well it was written.

Yes. I bow before your superior marketing instincts.
I am certain that GeNext2, like GeNext1 and Drawn by the Sword before it, will be the talk of the town. Martin Scorcese will be begging to have film rights by year's end.

As far as I know, there isn't a GENEXT digest out. However, that DOES NOT mean there won't be one. Marvel sometimes try to sell and aim certain low selling series at other venues and audiences.

Those books won't sell either (and I NEVER said they would).
Dazzler won't sell, accept it and get over it.
That being said, I do think that Dazzler would be perfectly suitable for a prime time live action action/drama TV series

LOL! "Dazzler won't sell."
Yes. Because, oh, in the 80s Dazzler was still pushing around 80K+ copies, and well over 100K for most of the run. And it hasn't been re-attempted since then.
But that can never compare to Claremont's legendary post-2000 "Roaring 20's" run of trying to break that 27K/month barrier.
Homegirl, you need to check yoself befo you wreck yoself.

Back in the 80's, a book that was selling 80K+ copies a month, was canceled. Which is EXACTLY what happened to DAZZLER. And a book selling just over 100K a month was on or near the cancellation bubble. So the fact remains, Dazzler DOES NOT sell, deal with it.

Dazzler was cancelled for the TOTALLY RAZOR "New Universe" concept. Not based on sales.
Don't be a ho. Dazzler would sell better than any CC mini. Even if the main plotline of a Dazzler ongoing involved her working in a gay bathhouse offering poppers to leather daddies.
Trust.
