Could DC ever do a reprint of the complete run ( Or as much as is reprintable . There's a complicated footnote to this* ) of the Batman newspaper strip that was put out in the 60s and 70s , just as they reprinted the complete 40s attempt ?
I believe , I said I BELIEVE , that the 60s strip had seperate Sunday and daily continuities for the period when it ran on both d/S - the Sunday strip was discontinued fairly early , the daily ran several years beyond that .
In its later years E. Nelson Bridwell and Al Plastino did the strip , and there were DCU appearances originating from beyond Gotham City in it , including a Green Arrow story that was reprinted in their old Amazing World Of DC in-house fanzine ( And which I saw an ad for a reprint of , in Portugese , in a Brazilian mag dedicated to classic adventure strips a couple of years back ! ) , and I think there were one , at least , other complete sequence reprinted back then .
*-Footnote: As the intro to the complete 40s volume explains , the DC , 70s , strip fell into a strange legal canyon towards the end . I'd appreciate it if , someone else , could refresh my memory on the specifics of said Earth opening . However , prior to that canyon , I believe it would be reprintable...........
