Vámpira deserves better! It is similar to the Choi cover of.. 204 I think? Vic create a thread with all the rogue/gambit covers and let us choose who captured them the best? (personally I would go for Larroca's Death Gambit and dying Rogue as we all know that Gambit will be the death of Rogue)

Is that an intentional homage to Choi's cover?
If so, isn't it a little early to be homaging covers from 20 issues ago?

And yeah, that cover is hot. Is that Bermejo? Looks awesome, which is a Lee Bermejo staple.

The ultimate visual metaphor.
Nice cover, hopefully its more representative than reflecting an actual scene from the book.

There aren't two ace of diamonds in a 52 card deck.
Yay more Gambit. Just wish they'd stop trying to pair those two up. Gambit needs to get over her and become self reliant again. He's boring pining over her.

As skillfully as the cover was handled---the idea is VERY weak. Sadly, this is just a rehash of covers----(I think Hi-Fi showed a few) where they are together in some romantic pose bleh-bleh-bleh.
Great skill was put into it, Bermejo is stupid talented, no question---but the idea has zero originality. How 'bout one where one where you see her cape drapped on the floor in darkness and 2 cards (ace of spades/queen of hearts) fluttering down onto it. How 'bout one where a Gambit's shrouded in darkness and he's got Rogue in a choke hold with his charged staff---it's light giving his silhouette shape and showing her fearful expression.
---how 'bout one where they're both GERBILS---whatever---just please, no more covers like this. I honestly felt the same way about Choi's recent X-Men Rogue/Gambit cover too (and I also think he's great)

Nice cover art! Even though Rogue's face seems a little off to me...
I loved Gambit and Rogue when they were still trying to make it work. He was the ladies man with the mysterious past and the one woman he wanted, he couldn't really touch... it was the cutest and I rooted for them the whole time. Just because of that time, I'll always want to see them together. Hey, I'm a hopeless romantic... *sigh*

I like Gamgue, but I also like Rosef. Either one of them is meant for her. Since Joseph is dead(sob), Remy is all we have. I like Gambit and I don't care if you don't like him. He is the best X-Man alive.

It is funny because you overreacted like someone had just killed your baby. You overreact to a lot of things it seems, to Claremont's writing, to anyone who dare say something not positive about Polaris and to PAD's great #39 twist. It's hilarious.

ROGUE: Get outta here, Remy! While you can! Don't throw your life away.

It's in vogue to kick the Romy ship. personally I can go either way, keep them together, split them up... it all depends on how it's written and where they're going with it. And if some people prefer to see it end, I can see that. But I think some are under the impression they gain some automatic 'cool' factor by constantly dissing at the top of their lungs. Like they think it makes them 'counter mainstream' or something. Who knows... Either that or it's just the standard troll crap.
