Today Rocksteady studios have released the next exclusive trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum over at Game Spot UK
The release for this game isn't until late summer now, but it's starting to shape up very nicely. The new site will be launching in the next month or so, including exclusive content, like podcasts.
Got the trailer and new screen shots for those interested...

Not to sure on Comissioner Gordon's voice, but god it's so good to hear Mark Hamill as the Joker again.
Conory sounds great as Batman, as always.
The game's shaping up to be something that I'm really looking forward to, next to DCUO.

Is that Mark Hamill? He sounds different. Anyway, I can't wait to play this game, haven''t been this Hyped over a game since Twilight Princess.
It sounds to me, as if Conory and Hamill both are "aging" their character's voices.
Both Joker and Batman's voices seem a bit more matured when compared to TAS, if you ask me.
I think Joker sounds great, even if he isn't sounding just as he did in TAS. Batman on the other hand....Well, he may be bit off, if anything, but hopefully that's just some of the early voice work used for the trailers.
A practice recording, if you will.

I certainly hope it was a practice voice over.
I don't really care for Gordon's voice, it sounds like the generic action game voice, no offense to the actor.
Kevin Conroy sounds great as usual. A bit more emotion might be a better though.
Mark Hamil doesn't really sound like his DCAU Joker. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but he sounds...off somehow. The laugh is not up to his usual standard too, which is weird. Upon second viewing it grows on me, but still seems a bit off. Too raspy and/r quiet?
I am not trying to compare it to the DCAU, but that is the diamond standard and Kevin and Mark are both THE Batman and Joker.
Hopefully they can smooth things out as the game development progresses.
The new bat emblem looks to wide too. Wider then Alex Ross' even.
I already pre-ordered this game, and I can't wait to play it.
The Dini - Conroy - Hamill team is always a win.

I really hope they make this game to expectations. We've been lacking an awesome Batman game for......forever.

I'm super excited too. The last great Bat game was on the animated series SNES game. I hope this game turns out good.

Not bad in the slightest. Now, if only that were an animated movie instead of a game. Then we'd possibly have something promising to look forward to.

I thought Vengeance was pretty good although I gave up in the Ivy level.

I liked it too. I don't recall how far I made it. I have no idea why they have not ported it from XBOX to 360 though.

That trailer was amazing.
I think Hamill deliberately went for some variation in his Joker voice as he, and the game producers, probably just didn't want another carbon copy animated series Joker voice. He still sounds terrific. And Conroy is his usual superb self.
Can't wait for this game!

When Hamill did "Batman Beyond", "Static Shock" and "Justice League", he was playing the Joker as a more evil force of malovence than the comedic showman from the earlier series. Here, since the Joker is written to be more in line with the comics and a bit from TDK, he's going in a different tangent. Rather than making punchlines, he's being intimidating. This is what he'd probably sound like if Hamill were to read the Joker's lines from "R.I.P." and not like "Detective" or "Death And The City".

Nice to know some people still know what Batman and his world should look and feel like.
I really didn't like how Dark Knight sucked out all the fantasy, imagination, gothic overtones and romance out of Batman's world.
