ok so i was watching "Batman: brave and bold" the other night and the new beetle was on and he seemed pretty cool. Was just wondering if he is like that in the comics and what is he up to post crisis crisis.

Currently you can read about him in his own comic (which, in a brilliant move has two issue left before being cancelled.) You can either start with issue 35, or you can try picking up some trades (Shellshocked, Road Trip, Reach for the Stars and Endgame are the first four trades.)

Those trades explore his development as a superhero, his interaction with his friends, family, and fellow superheroes, and the mystery of the scarab and the Blue Beetle legacy.

He's also currently a member of the Teen Titans, which seems like his default post FC situation.

See, now this thread here is exactly why it was such an idiotic move to cancel the Blue Beetle ongoing just before debuting the Brave and the Bold TV show.

Also, Kid Quick Foots, you can read about him in the trades of his solo series and now in the comic book version of Batman and the Brave and the Bold, which just started this week. I'd avoid the Teen Titans though. It's flippin' terrible.

I was about to start a thread on this. My 8 year old is now in love with the Blue Beetle... and of course it's being cancled.

Oh well, tiume to buy some trades.

Jaime is just like how he was characterized on Brave and the Bold....but he's a much worse public speaker :p

and a lot of the times in the comic, it was Jaime's supporting cast upstaging him....you only got a taste of how Paco is (and in the comic he knows Jaime's the Blue Beetle)
