There are some books that, no matter how bad they are, or how stupid the storyline is, you have to buy it. Which are yours? Personally I can't stop buying Legion of Superheroes. No matter how stupid they are, or how bad the writing/art, I still have to pick it up.

I used to be this way, which is why "Cap Wolf" and "Iron Cap" are in my closet somewhere, but I learned to overcome it. John Byrne having Superman execute people drove me off him for the first time in my life. Since then, it's been easy. I dropped Nightwing when Devin Grayson crapped all over it. Ed Benes' porno artwork pushed me off Bird of Prey and I've just dropped Robin because of what happened in the most recent issue and when New Krypton is done, I won't be buying any Superman book that Jame Robinson is writing.
I really can't think of any DC book I won't drop when it starts to violate the character. I guess that's why I didn't drop Captain America even when he became a werewolf or wore armor. His character was still intact. There's just too much character violation at DC to make this happen.

... I've just dropped Robin because of what happened in the most recent issue
Wasn't this the second last issue anyway?

..an empty gesture I realize, but that's still $3 I can spend elsewhere.

For me, it's always been Action Comics and Detective Comics.

Im determined to keep getting the Justice League, at the moment its not the greatest but the art is really nice, and besides,
well its one of the main core titles in the DC Uni, so I don't really have a choice..............
Hawkman & Aquaman when they return will also be on my must buy list even if they become real stinkers...........

Wally West Flash comics apparently. Bart Allen Flash comics on the other hand, held onto me for all of one issue.

Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps, though I find that they have always made me happy and if one was low on the action it made up for it in story telling.

Legion of Super Heroes. Even when it was so far beyond god awful I still got it. IT always that hope that sooner or latter things will turn around for the book, which in the Legions case was usually true.

Any Green Lantern title will be hard for me to let go.

I can't help but buy Justice Society. It's been my weakness since the All-Star Squadron series in the 80's.
I'll usually check out any appearances by Zatanna. Fortunately she doesn't have her own series so it's just guest stints here and there.
I'll buy anything featuring the Vic Sage Question, but I doubt that will be a big problem now that he's dead.

None.
I love the JSA and Captain Marvel, but nothing can make me buy 'Trials of Shazam' or Johns' 'JSA'.
I'd rather not read a comic featuring a character I like than read a bad comic.
The simple fact is, if I like Captain Marvel, and I buy 'Trials of Shazam', I'm telling DC will my money that this is the direction I want them to take the character.
I'm telling them that this is the kind of rubbish I want.
To be honest, I'd rather not do that.

I'd have a hard time dropping Supes books, but I'm sure I could if they got bad enough.
I thought I'd never drop the Flash, but I did that.

Weekly books. All of 52, all of Countdown, all of Trinity (so far). And even at the lowest point in Countdown they were still the first books I read each week.

Anything Green Lantern related ...
Anything Greg Rucka writes ...
And Aquaman.
(Outside of DC, there's also G.I. Joe).
No matter how bad.
And it's starting to happen with all the Super-titles too ...
Thank god in the case of the Green Lantern books, that hasn't happened in years.

I don't know if this counts, but I'm a sucker for any and all of DC's holiday themed specials. I always buy them. Can't help it.

Yeah, once I transfer schools, my pull list is gonna take a big dip in terms of size, especially if I move out of state.
I figure I'll continue to pick up:
Action Comics, Detective Comics, Justice League of America, and Justice Society of America... maybe Astonishing Tales and Adventure Comics if they prove to be good.

JSA and Uncanny X-Men. I would weather any storm with those teams.

There really isn't a book that'll do that to me, but I'll pick up anything involving Peter Milligan, Jim Lee, Kevin Nowlan, or Doug Mahnke. Except if one of the latter three only did the cover.

No, there is no book that I need to pick up even when it's bad. I had a long run of Uncanny X-Men and X-Men and dropped those books when the quality dipped. I am also dropping JSA when Johns leaves even though I've been collecting that for years. I usually buy books for the writer, like Johns and Morrison, or because of reputation.

As terrible a thing to do as it is (and really, it's just a terrible thing to be doing) I'm probably going to get the main Batman books no matter what.

Yeah, my run on Batman starts about there too, for Detective Comics it's in the mid-four hundreds.

I buy anything Superman. Mostly good-great stuff, but it has led me to owning things such as the "Superman Meets The Quick Bunny" special...

Count me in for the Legion as well. No matter how bad things get, I'll stick with the Legion through it all.

No matter what, I always buy JLA, JSA, and Flash (if its Wally West). Always have and probably always will.
I'm starting to wonder if I need to add Legion of Super-Heroes to this list, as I still bought that every month even as Shooter's run did nothing for me. Blah and bland.
