Out of curious, when it's supossed to have happened Sue Dibny's rape (I know in "Identity Crisis") but accordingly with the old Justice League series.

I remember someone saying it was around the time that Firestorm Joined.

Which would have been around 1979-80.

I recall Meltzer identifying the Firestorm era (late 70's/early 80's) as the "inspiration" time period of IDENTITY CRISIS - that's when the story where the Injustice Gang swapped minds with the JLA (which led to them finding out their secret ID's, which lead to the mindwipes) took place.

Also, the Sue Dibny rape would've had to have taken place before Wolfman & Perez's NEW TEEN TITANS, as that series was when Dr. Light first appeared as kind of a putz.

the rape was retconned in though. I guess you can look at it as she was stoic about it or she had her memory wiped about it, so it was never addressed.

Uh, Bendis did not write Indentity Crisis. Brad Meltzer did, as I recall.

I didn't say it definitely happened - just that the Firestorm era was when Meltzer set his retcon in.

I would assume, then, he established the rape after the mind swap story because that - and his retconned mindwipes - factored right into what he had the JLA do to Dr. Light.
