Why no Earth CW?

In an effort to boost corporate synergy, why in the 52 earths was there no "Earth CW" an earth populated by the characters from Smallville. This way they can do whatever they like on the show since it is really more of an Elseworlds tale.

Do you think only 52 earths is limiting them and removing other Elseworlds possibilities?

Because DC doesn't own the Smallville show and can't use anything from the WB show without heavy legal hurdles to jump.

Also, the Smallville comic based on the show sold about three or four copies.

haha, it does make for a good guilty pleasure. As for only 52 earths cramping down on the ability to make more Elseworlds books, of course but I'm sure they are going to do something to expand it in the next 5-25 years. Just look at how long we just had one Earth. But just remember, it is Elseworlds and they can be written whenever they want about next to anything they want, and Smallville doesn't really need to be printed onto glossy paper.

As opposed to being able to do whatever they like on the show since it doesn't affect anything outside of that show? Don't really see the point.
