Man, I have got to stop spending so much time in Risa....

There´s a BL series out now?

Who´s the creative team?

Jen Van Meter (Greg Rucka's wife; did the Oracle spotlight issue in Gotham Knights's first year) and Cully Hamner.

I ADORE Jen Van Meter. Her Hopeless-Savages mini series are amazing, and her JSA Classified arc may be the best Injustice Society story ever.

I loved Jen Van Meter's Cinnamon modern western mini-series.

I liked what I saw of the Black Lightning book, though I was prepared to hate it, given how much I loved the original by Tony Isabella.

Jen Van Meter needs an on-going, stat.

I've really been enjoying the series so far and i'm thrilled that it's bi-weekly too.

Hamner's art is fantastic as usual, so vibrant, and Van Meter has been doing a great job too.

Issue #2 with Clark Kent even being impressed by Jeff's actions at the school was great. This is the Jeff I like to read about. The man that makes as much of a difference as a teacher as he does as a vigilante, if not more of a difference as a teacher.

Just read the first two issues after it was suggested to me.

Know what? Not bad. Not bad at all.
