DC Cosmics

Hi,

I'm wondering if you clever folks would be able to provide a list of DC's cosmic characters. A Marvel equivalent of Silver Surfer, Quasar, Nova, those types of people. The only one I really know of would be Green Lantern.

It doesn't need to be comprehensive, a few would do.

Ever since the 1st Annihilation series I've been a little bit cosmic obsessed with my comic buying. Green Lantern has been good and I am really excited about R.E.B.E.L.S.

Mustn't forget Lobo , he's the cosmic bounty hunter.

Is Lobo going to be part of Dox's group ?

There's also more obscure space characters like space cabby , space ranger and more recently the weird. (didn't read the mini so what happened to the weird since ?).

Does the revived weird have the same powers as before ? Because he's a major powerhouse before.

Comet would be your man then. He has all sorts of fun powers. Check out the recent Mystery in Space and Holy War mini series for a good look at him.

Here would be the books to check for the cosmic side of DC:

Green Lantern/Green Lantern Corps - both gearing up now for the Blackest Night storyline with more aliens than you can shake a stick at. Green Lanterns, Blue Lanterns, Red Lanterns, Orange Lanterns, the Sinestro Corps, and teh Star Saphires.

Stange Adventures - the new book starring Adam Stange and Comet

REBELS - Vril Dox II (son of Brainiac) leading a group to regain control of his paramilatry space cops.

And like I said your best bet would be the Mystery in Space mini from alitle while back that reset Captain Comet into how he is now. Its availible in trades.
