Question about Zatanna...

Can anyone recommend a good Zatanna book? I'd like to learn more about her.

Is Zatanna's Search still in continuity? It seems to be the easiest book to find. Is it worth getting the Zatanna issues of Seven Soldiers?

Zatanna's Seven Soldiers arc is definitely worth getting. I'd also recommend the one-shot Zatanna: Everyday Magic which was actually published under the Vertigo label.

As for Zatanna's Search, I don't know if it's still in continuity, but I'd say assume it is until DC decides to contradict it. Go for it, but keep in mind that it's a collection of individual stories from the Silver Age, so the storytelling style is very different.

I agree with Kelson - get Zatanna's story in the Seven Soldiers compendium. That's the best i've seen her. A real character with foibles, insecurities and real pathos - not some one-note top-hatted magician with great gams and a handy backwards spell for every occassion.
