Yeah, but on Hannibal Tabu's "The Buy List" column, it's dead last. He puts it in his "No... Just No!" category for buying decisions this week.

That column is a joke. We're finally getting some well written articulate reviews on the CBR I just don't see why they waste space on a guy that thinks "meh" is worthwhile criticism.

I hope Tabu doesn't actually get paid for what he writes.

The guy pretty consistently bashes Green Lantern. He. Bashes. Green. Lantern.
His opinion does not count. He is still entitled to it, it simply does not count.
Back on topic, I really enjoyed this story. Final Crisis started slow but it's really been building up to the point where I can't wait for the final issue, if it comes out on Wednesday. Morrison's actually done an admirable job of telling a relatively complete story with the build-up contained in the series itself, and the tie-ins adding to it but not disrupting the flow of the main story. This one speaks for itself, and serves as a nice epilogue to All-Star Superman in the bargain - Supes and Lois both act as if they're straight from All-Star. I'm wondering now if Mandrakk may actually be the villain of Blackest Night, with Darkseid defeated at the end of FC but this threat still in play.

My issue isn't what he likes or doesn't like just the fact his critical analysis and writing is so poor you usually can't understand why he doesn't like or likes a book. Greg Hatcher on CSBG doesn't like the same books I like but he always puts thought into what he writes where you can understand his point of view even if I don't agree with it.

i REALLY enjoy reading the part where he says good things about the comics he bought. he has a fun and eager style when doing that, and he usually makes some interesting comments.
i usually disagre or dislike the way he deals with the bottom part. i think it shouldn't even be there, so i don't really read it. i did read his opinions on the lanterns and FC because i love these two, but i disagree with his argumentation wholeheartedly.
cheers,
rio.

I liked the 2nd issue which made the previous one more sense but I got this Kevin O'Neill feeling about the art like Marshal Law was gonna show and kick butt.
