He was so cool in Marvel Zombies 3.He was so cool in Marvel Zombies 3.I think he is a new character and Van Lente should use him or some other version again, cause South American heroes are very rare in the Marvel Universe.I will post pics later.

If you're being sarcastic, you're brilliant.

If you're being serious, lurk more.

I've been wondering since this issue if his from the same universe as the Aztec Empire railway line that the guy pulls from it's universe in Wisdom?

ThunderWolf!!!

Maybe Jeff Parker can use him in the (new) Exiles.

What the Devil!? They've finally taken Claremont off Exiles? This is a happy day.

I agree Capt. Mexica would make a great character in Exiles. Even in zombie form.

That wouldn't make much sense if the Aztec Empire had never been conquered.

the seal, which is an eagle fighting a snake atop of a cactus, is an aztec legend of how they found the capital of the aztec empire. it was later incorporated into the mexican flag. it makes perfect sense :)

Not as is, though. Since the design itself is not Aztec.

Besides, it's not like Cap has the Seal of the Republic on his shirt.

its an alternate universe; whose to say they couldnt have come up with the same current design. it also helps readers identify which region cap mexica comes from (readers know who mexicans are but how many people know who the mexica people are?). im curious thuogh. how many readers know what the great seal of the US looks like? if it were plastered on captain america they would know

I usually like Rob's work. Unlike a lot of the popular artists these days, there's actually energy and a sense of movement in it.

Rob top work for me was when he drawed the X-force (vol1).
Very impressive the work he put in those stories.

i like his new mutants stuff too. i know he gets a lot of flak because of the way he draws anatomy but i think thats due to the dislike of rob himself and not his artwork. there are plenty of current and past artists who dont draw correct anatomy either (ramos and bachalo come to mind) yet you dont see many posts complaining about it

ThunderWolf!!!

I will like Liefeld draw Captain Mexica only if he draws him with two of them large boobs.

I doubt we'll be seeing zombie Captain Mexica again since Machine Man basically eviscerated him. I don't think he left many parts laying around that could still be ambulatory. Pretty funny character visually though..

Yeah, that's what they did with the zombie Wolverine that appeared in Exiles. That one had all his limbs still intact (for awhile anyway) and was destroyed at the end of the story. They'd pretty much have to do the same with Cap Mexica. Maybe we could even see this variant as somebody NOT undead.

Maybe it was the raving lunatic 1950's Captain Mexica that was infected with the zombie virus. Why else would he have been held in the containment center to begin with?

And I like how he spoke in Aztec hieroglyphs.

Retrodork

They were holding him before he could be deported? That's a good question, though. Why would they feel the need to have these alternate reality dopplegangers held in stasis tubes and kept contained in the first place? If this SHIELD off-shoot is designed to monitor and contain alternate reality incursions, keeping them from entering the 616 MU, why would they keep live (an assumption here. Everybody in those tubes could have been dead already for all I know) specimens around? The series actually piqued my curiosity about this organization more than anything else. I'm hoping there are more appearances in store because I'm a sucker for good alternate universe stories.

He just doesn't draw anatomical proportions, faces, hands and feet well. But ya he can draw covers supposedly.
