I mean, when the cameras are off and little kids aren't watching? After all, she's sharing an apartment with gorillas and coming home from a full day of work and super-heroing to clean up after the latest flinging incident must grate on her nerves sometimes...

What? Frakk?
I'm sure she does, it is a little known secret that Diana is a BSG fan.
Even her Gods have started wearing BSG costumes.

The F word?
I'm SURE she says "Fudge" a lot!
Maybe even (gasp!) the OTHER F word... "Fiddlesticks"!

And "Suffering Sappho!"
Another exclamation that I remember her uttering when I was a wee lad was "Merciful Minerva!" I honestly can't remember whether that might've been on the Super Friends cartoon or whether I read a story with her in it or what, but I remember her saying it. (I'm sure that I saw some of the show with Lynda Carter too.)
So when I learned that one of her enemies was named "Barbara Minerva" I wondered if the creator of that character was inspired by that exclamation. Anybody know how Cheetah's name came to be?

Suffering Sappho reminds me of Namorita:"Sufferin shad."

I've known people who don't even say, " bloody. "
I don't see Diana as much of a swearer.

Well, Minerva, if I remember right, was the Roman name for Hera, and pre-Crisis Wondy did exclaim it a lot. No idea why they named Babs what they did, but in her first appearence, there was a hint 'Barbara Minerva' was an alias. Under the effect of the lasso, she almost blurts out "There is no Barbara Minerva..." This seems to have been discarded, though.

Hmmm, interesting. If I knew how to knit I might be able to make a sweater from that dangling plot thread, but alas it is doomed to dangle indefinitely, perhaps forever... :frown:
Anyway, thanks!

Athena, actually, I think. Hera was Juno.
