Hello! I am going to be covering a truly epic independent wrestling event that has taken place in Gonzales, Texas on the night of October 25, 2008. It is an explosive event that has been remembered as one of the greatest nights of independent wrestling that the state of Texas has ever seen!
Here are all of the action that happened that night:
Match one: Semifinals match for vacant TWF Heavyweight Belt:
Tito Sanchez Vs. CJ Xavier (With Thomas Trump)
Result: CJ Xavier Wins Match
Match two: Tag Match:
Kyote Joe & Masked Renegade Kowboy Vs. Javi Hernandez & Jose Valiente
Result: Hernandez & Valiente win the match.
Match three: TWF Light Heavyweight Three-Way Title Match:
Cobra Vs. Dragon X Vs. Champion El Latino
Result: El Latino wins the match & retains the title.
Match four: Finals match for TWF Heavyweight Title:
Darkstar JR Vs. CJ Xavier (With Thomas Trump)
Result: CJ Xavier Wins The Match & Becomes TWF Heavyweight Champion.
(After the match, the Billion Dollar Man Thomas Trump, meets CJ Xavier & offers to hand over a briefcase full of money to Xavier in exchange for the TWF Heavyweight Championship belt. CJ Xavier accepts the offer. The promoter then tells Trump that he has to defend the TWF Heavyweight title later that night against a challenger of his choosing, which turns out to be Tito Sanchez.)
Match five:
Rey Lancer Vs. Monje Diabolico
Result: Rey Lancer wins the match.
Match six: TWF Heavyweight Title Challenge:
Tito Sanchez Vs. Challenger Thomas Trump (With CJ Xavier)
Result: Thomas Trump wins the match & retains the title.
Tito Sanchez was injured during the match (due to Trump hitting him with a folding chair) & had to be rushed to the nearest hospital. Tito Sanchez swore that there will be revenge.
There will be another TWF show in Gonzales coming this coming Saturday night. It will be at the Edwards Association Community Center, located at 214 Fly St. (The same venue that Halloween Hoax took place!). The phone number is (830) 672-2651. Admission is $10.00 before the event & $15.00 on the day of the event. (Tickets must be sold at the gate!). The show will start at 7:30 PM, & the gates will open at 6:30 PM!
