Here is what I see when I look at America even thought the blemishes and warts

"Every time we think we have reached our capacity to meet a challenge, we look up and we're reminded that that capacity may well be limitless."

Rather ass-addled attempt at calling Obama anti-American in the third paragraph, though.

Yeah, and keep in mind, this was all "Fake America." A bunch of New Yorkers being piloted by a Californian who is a visiting scholar at Berkeley.

Not to name any names, but there are those who believe American society is broken, that our national soul needs healing, that our citizens lack the character to even set our own thermostats. But I believe that the nation this unnamed person will be sworn in to govern on Tuesday is a much better place than many of his supporters (not to mention family members) believe.

yeah great guy

Article would have been much better without the bitter political spin that was tacked on rather needlessly. Course looking at the comments the writer has a history of it.

I think this was a bad article to use, because it seemed pretty cynical itself.

Couldn't agree more. The fellow has a nice warm 'n' fuzzy point to make, but capsizes it for a rather pitiful bit of sour graping.

True.
