Don't confuse self confidence with arrogance. Crystal has always only ever been herself, doing her thing. She isn't changing herself to fit the mold that she thinks America wants. She isn't saying she is the best. She is just being herself. Doing things her way. Knowing that she will be happy with whatever happens as long as she doesn't change herself to fit what she thinks the judges want.

Because if this season has shown us anything, it is that the judges don't know what the viewers want. And that they don't know what will work for each and every contestant.

In a way I feel sorry for Crystal. She is sooooo good that she gets very little constructive criticism. They just tell her how good she is. Makes it kind of hard for her to improve, and yet she does improve.

Ryan Secrest knows in the morning who is in the bottom 2, he shares the information with the producer when he gets to the AI studio. The producer then lines the contestants up on the couch the way he wants them to be chosen. Secrest and the producer are the only 2 who know the results ahead of time. The judges don't, so if the results are revealed Secrest had to be the one to leak it.

If you criticize Mike for singing the same way every episode, so do the rest. He picks good songs and has a nice voice. (Though to be honest his Hollywood week performance of that Jason Mraz song (I think) sounded annoying to me.)

I just haven't been able to get in to this season. I wanted to, really I did, but I just can't. Unless they get a new Adam Lambert, I think the show only has 2, maybe 3 seasons left once Simon leaves. If they do have a "Lambert" on every season afterwards though, it'll seem gimicky. Anyway, have the contestants gotten better? I quit watching after the group singing of "Tonights gonna be a good night" by the Black Eyed Peas. That performance actually made me embarassed. That is though just my opinion, and if you enjoyed it, I mean no insult, so please don't take it that way.

It would be very interesting to see Casey or Lee win, as neither of them have the growl of Daughtry, and an album would really appeal to a niche audience.

Crystal is the only winner , has been since they have the top 24. Lee has a personality of dry paint , god knows how the heck he has progressed through so long - at least someone like Siobhan magnus has some personality and color.

Well, I beg to disagree. What you see as arrogance, I see as self confidence. And she is just a single mother trying to make a better life for her child. In that she has already succeeded. Only a few more hours to go to find out who wins the big prize.

Lee came on strong at the end, but so did Crystal. I will be happy for either, but I hope Crystal wins. She has been my hands down favorite ever since Andrew Garcia got stalled after his performance of Straight Up. If he could have lived up to that one performance each week, this would have been a vastly different competition.

But if I get sick and have to take off unexpectedly I get penalized for it. So basically my decision not to have children penalizes me? And someone elses decision TO have children gets them special treatment?

Preaching to the choir, as I used to work for a woman who asked single employees to surrended pre arranged vacation time (sometimes on less than a week's notice) because someone had a kid's party or once a romantic getaway at the last moment.


But as for competitions, there will always be someone with a baby (Mike and Adam also had young children) or an elderly relative, have parents who aren't together; maybe we should have a show based on that? I don't get the infatuation that so many viewers apparently have with Pia's looks as your not the first nor tenth I've heard claim she is the hottest ever. She has a nice body but her face is a bit horseish. Oh, I'd definitely be more than willing to have sex with her as she's not ugly, she's just not superhot either other than in the body. I don't even think she is the best looking this year, Haley is, let alone ever on Idol. Just off the top of my head I'd put Alexis Grace, Carrie Underwood, Didi Benimi, and Katherine McPhee above her. And I imagine if I actually had a list I'd find more.
