Been watching this 3 parter on Channel 4 this week and thought it was brilliant. It was funny without ruining the tension at all. The zombies baying for the house mates and devouring them until there's nothing left is an allegory for reality TV in real life and an indictment on human nature (as all zombie flicks ect. are I suppose) if you wanna look into it all deep and $h!t. Also how the poor idiots who go on these shows are just disposable commodities for the TV companies to use and abuse, but mainly it was just exciting, gory and funny. The producer guy with the tache especially cracked me up by being such a heartless bastard.

Anyone else see it? I'd recommend it to anyone who's into zombies and satire.

Yeah, I loved this. The guy who put me into billed it as a comedy so I was kinda underwhelmed at first. It's really a zombie show with the odd funny moment.

The ending was quite depressing but it couldn't end any other way I suppose. I loved the way the producer talked to everyone like shit, it creased me up.

Pippa: "You've killed Davina!"

Patrick "I hired her, I can do what I like"

Charlie Brooker is a legend.

Just spent the morning watching this on YouTube!

LOVED it, so thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I wouldn't exactly call it satire, tho I can see how it's trying to be.

definately owes a LOT to Romero, and quite a few direct "lifts" from his films (particularly some scenes are straight out of "day of the dead")

I'm surprised some folks didn't like the ending, but really. . how else could it have ended?

my only quibble is the coincidences -- characters who are coupled up are able to survive long enough to find each other again?

I'm not a huge reality show fan, but I liked the idea that the Big Brother house was the safest place to be :)

I'll definately pick this up if it ever gets released on DVD (tho I expect I'll find it at a con on bootleg first).

thanks again for the heads up on it.
