My theory is simple did anyone read the interview where the writers said that Cable's toughest battle to come will be with himself. I thought that meant him growing old but what if it meant literly. I think Bishop is either talking to Stryfe or Cable from the past. We could be seeing another classic Stryfe v Cable match up over the kid( bring back bad memmories for cable remember the Tyler Dayspring cable's surrogate son and what stryfe did to him.) Or a old school merc Cable versus our new more wiser and older Cable.

This thread is a trap. If you discuss spoilers in here then Peter David will lynch you.

A list has already been compiled based on the actual dialogue.

1) Claudine Renko, a.k.a. Miss Sinister
2) Charles Xavier
3) Mystique
4) Dark Beast
5) Layla Miller
6) Sugar Man

I do not see Cable or Stryfe on that list.

Its so obvious that the villian is Rouge-Mort. It always boils down to being Rouge-Mort.

You could just post this in the Cable #10 thread...

Seriously, TYCOON. Just discuss things about an issue in the actual thread. Hell, you even put the issue number in the title of this one... seems like it'd be relevant to discussing that issue. Just use spoiler tags for theories that might blow any plot reveals from issue #11 on if you're worried about it.

Please be prepared to intelligently discuss the 2nd law of thermodynamics if you plan on joining the Cable #10 thread. It is already rampant with uninformed pseudo-science.

Good theory. Cable is supposed to come into some sort of conflict with himself somehow, so perhaps it's Stryfe or just Cable himself from his merc days. I like it.

That would allow them to kill Cable (since he's getting much older than he was before, and he was no kid) and still keep the book and a Cable.

The problem is that it would be even more convoluted. Too much even for Cable standards. An alternate reality version of a character born in the 616 reality, later sent to the future, and whom later return older than his parents?

Something that sounds similar happened already in the last cable and deadpool series. So technically i thought the current cable running around was already an alternate reality one because Deadpool found another dimension version of Cable as an infant and brought him back to 616. the story was a mess.

Beast?

I don't know why they killed Hope Summers so soon. It was interesting seeing Cable as a family man.

So they could live up to the title of A New Hope. Plus, seeing Cable sleep with a red-head is seriously gross.
