View Full Version : Anyone have any cookie dough or ice cream?

So, sales are in for the first quarter for Revolution of the Mask. I didn't get a breakdown of how many people bought it, but between Lulu, Wowio, and Crux, Leo and I have made a grand total of... $17.

Yeah, so I'm feeling kind of down right now. Not that I expected to be raking in the dough, but it's disheartening to see my work not even begin to cover the original expenses. I especially feel bad since Wowio apparently is paying out the $11 of their share, although I'm not sure if they've paid off the people who are owed considerably more than that.

Admittedly, I should feel really happy since my video reviews of bad comics (now a feature on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses.com) have earned me $750, but I was hoping for something a little more solid than $17 (and again, I'm only getting $8.50 since the other $8.50 goes to the artist. I'm just glad the guy has other work on his plate).

So, anyone have something snacky?

Yeah, got some great, nearly-guilt-free, ice cream. Breyer's fat free Mint Fudge. :smile:

It does, and Leo just e-mailed me back. He's remaining positive and encouraged me to do the same (plus he said I could have the rest of the royalties, oh yippee skippee XD).

Self marketing is A LOT of work! Keep plugging away.

I've made a little bit more than $17 ... but, not oodles yet. :wink:

As for cookie dough -- well, I DID have some chocolate chip cookie dough, but it's gone now. I do have some chocolate fudge ice cream, and some blood orange gelato (yummy!).

That's the best I can do for you right now.
