What the hell!??

Did anyone else open up this book to find X-Men/Spider-Man #3?

Because I was seriously disappointed. Great print job, Marvel. I wanted to read both books... but not one with the wrong book's cover, therefore nullifying it from being a real comic in an actual series. Where do I place it? In which serie's box? And if they reprint them correctly, does that make the real version reprints? Has this ever happened to anyone before?

Or was it just my store's shipment? I doubt it, by the way.

I was expecting some awesome Avalanche story, but Marvel spites me. Oh well! Hopefully its just a mistake they can fix!

I'm so mad about it.I realized in my car, went back to the store to check the rest, and they offered my money back but I didn't want to take it because they're a tiny business and it isn't their fault exactly.

But I'm mad. I was really really looking forward to this, much more than X-Men/Spider-Man (which isn't even supposed to be out this week, is it?).

I don't know. I like both series, but I don't like that this book is technically neither.

I wanted a new Dazzler story too and was excited to end the Iceman one.

I was considering this... but then I realized how stupid I was to care, because I don't collect for value, I do for fun. Of course, selling my books would help me get through college easier, no doubt. But still. I wanted a story hahaha.

I'll keep it for now, and maybe it will be worth something. "Marvel's Big New Year Eff-Up of '09!"

Yeah, my local store has sent their stock back to Diamond. I only found out because I went in tonight after the guys I order my comics off (Forbidden Planet International) emailed me to say that it had been removed from my order (Which should arrive tomorrow) as they were sending all theirs back, too.

Hi

Just to pass on word on this, as I just heard from my Editor, news of the general error is correct. A new total print-run is being done, and should be out on the 21st.

I'm going to have to go another two weeks without spoiling the Dazzler story to anyone now. Sniff.

No, this is a story that previews show it's Dazzler dealing with Man Mountain Marko being an ***hole in first class of a plane at 30,000 feet. She's about to show him why even if you're a diva, you gotta be humble.

I want a Dazzler mini feautring her girlfriend, Nocturne, her ex-boyfriend, Longshot, Zombie Lila Cheney, Lois London, and her new girlfriend, Karma! And her new boyfriend again, Angel! Throw in Avalanche too if you want.

Those are the eyes of a true Dazzler fan.

I'm not a Dazzler fan. I am an X-Men fan, who appreciates a well-written Dazzler. Her own series was cool, and her X-Men days at least developed her beyond a big Barbie, as ugly as she looked. I even liked her on Jean Grey's team with Northstar and Sunpyre. I like when characters DO things. So I like when she does as well.

Speaking of Outback Dazzler. I just read the issue where Longshot discovered his psychometric ability. Dazzler really wanted that bike.

Just to be clear. Did you just call Disco Dazzler a big, ugly Barbie?

MYSself. Deep breath. Deeeeep breath. There.

I'm just gonna dust it off my shoulders. Besides: there's a clear problem if you have a codename after Professor X. You may take your terrible opinions to Newsarama.

oooh, i think there's something wrong with my Malibu Stacy too,

"my spidey-sense is tingling!" "did somebody call for a web slinger?"

on a more serious note, whadyagonnado? oh well. i was only buying the issue for the iceman story, as frankly i feel the same way about disco, as i do about herpes.

My LCS dealer told me about the SNAFU and gave me the issue for free. I took it because hey, you never know if most stores sent them back then not a lot of people will have them...or as many.

All you Dazzler fans need to be sterilized, because the only thing to look forward to in that book is one Bobby Drake the Everlasting Iceman!!!!

Hey Gage why not write a Iceman/Mystique mini? Those two are GREAT together.

Meaning that most pop celebrities are big dumb Barbie dolls... Dazzler was developed so much that she was not. And yes, her Outback look is and has always been her least attractive look. She was beautiful in her disco days, awkward in her Outback days, but as awkward as she was, she actually had a ton of character and plot attached.

Where in this did I offend your precious Dazzler?

No no no no.... her outback days are my favorite look. Her 80's pop look and the way Marc Silvestri drew her was da bomb. I like her long hair too, but I'll always be a fan of her short hair. I wouldn't mind if she got her face paint back, but the roller skates were too camp (sorry Novaya, you know I love you baby)

As for the misprint, dayyyyuuummm. That's a nice big mistake. I like Novaya's proposition of a Dazzler 5 issue mini.
