I wrote about the book in this week's "When Words Collide" column, which you can read HERE (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=19337).

Did anyone else get this ginormous thing yet?

Thoughts about the price? The contents? Art comics in general?

Discuss.

To be honest I had never heard of Kramers Ergot #7 before your review. But the price is high, the size is what is my concern. Where could I put that if I got it? I'd find a place sure. I enjoy the works of the contributers, Tomine, and Clowes for example. But the size and price to me seem like a joke of sorts, if it was smaller or cheaper then I could easily see myself picking it up, no problem.

I really, really, really want this.

It's got stuff by several people I buy everything (else) they produce. And I like my art big.

But it just costs too much money. Can't do it.

Amazon has it for about $79... looks interesting, but I can't really justify spending that much on one book.

Reminds me of the scene in Dan Clowes' "Pussey" with the $200 art comic called, "Emperor's New Clothes Kommmix."

Edit: a little ironic that Clowes contributed to Kramers.
