If any of this has a familiar ring to it, it's because it's a new film adaptation of Vonnegut's Harrison Bergeron (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1282015/). It's narrated by the great Patricia Clarkson (Happy Birthday!), and I'm eager to see what they do with ol' Harrison this time around. There was a pretty good adaptation done several years ago starring Sean Astin, and apparently there's another version from 2006 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1223957/), which may be why they chose to change the title.
