I'm a big Clint Eastwood fan and as such am looking forward to his new film Gran Torino, but what I was fascinated to discover to day that ex-DC publisher and president Jeanette Khan is one of the executive producers of the film.

I had wondered what Jeanette was up to since leaving the company, and now I know.

She's a partner with Double Nickel Entertainment. Their first film was The Flock - a smaller release starring Richard Gere and Claire Danes, so I suspect she has a producer credit on that one too.

Wow, that's really cool, rick. Glad to see she's doing well. Always thought she did DC a lot of good.

And Jeanette was the...publisher? Editor in Chief? I forget what title they were using at the time, but basically the head of DC comics from the '70s until early in the '00s. Oh, and, no, not an ex-wife of a cricketer. rick just misspelled her name.

Jeanette Kahn (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenette_Kahn) (with the picture Neal Adams drew that's notorious for making her look like Mary Tyler Moore).
