Wonderfalls
Dead Like Me
Press Gang (British ITV series - some wonky acting, but great writing!)
Scrubs
Lost - no show like this one has had me wishing next week wasn't so far away.
Seinfeld
Degrassi Junior High (when you grow up in rural Australia with only two channels and this comes on in the afternoon kids timeslot - teenage drinking, drugs, pregnancy - wow! Just wow...)
Freaks & Geeks
The Office (The British one. As soon as I watched the two Christmas specials I had to immediately go back and watch the whole series again, when they manage to make David Brent a sympathetic character. A stroke of pure genius.)

I am HOOKED on Lost. Dexter is also a decent enough show. As for more reality based... I am a HUGE Gordon Ramsay fan... So, the BBC America Kitchen Nightmares Revisited series. Lost being my all time favorite.

2. Lost
6. Dexter
Luckily for me, I have a girlfriend who works at Blockbuster... Lost is one show you HAVE to see EVERY episode of, IN ORDER, for it to make any sense. And, once you start, you can't stop. Unluckily enough for me, I caught up, now I have to watch it on TV and wait week by week. That sucks :(.

Currently on air (I'm not sure I watch ten shows and after the top four none really belong anywhere near my all time list )
1. Supernatural (also my #1 on or / off air)
2. Lost
3. Dexter
4. Battlestar Galactica
5. Heroes (something has to go here, flawed show but fun)
6. Terminator (same as Heroes)
7. Fringe (I have difficulty buying the concept of Walter)
8. Prison Break (once I turn of my disbelief meter its a fun ride)
9. Smallville (really scaping the bottom now as I only watch because its on before Supernatural)
10. There is no tenth show I'm currently watching
Off air (this list may change depending on what I've watched on DVD recently, as such I've got several #1's, the top 3 are my favorite all time except Supernatural which is a clear #1 over them)

1. Angel
4. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
5. Veronica Mars
6. Alias
7. Journeyman
8. Wiseguy

I personally think that mentioning top 20 is quite a tough job. If you will ask my my favourites than this will be only Friends. One of the finest TV serial ever made.

I still have never actually watched an entire episode of this. Little snippets here and there because it was on and I was in the room but never a whole episode.

I don't watch that many serials, so I'll go with just one in each category.
On air: Battlestar Galactica. Hope the final season will not be botched.
Off air: Firefly - a crying shame it was cancelled. Great lines and dialogues, great characters, great stories that made me both laugh and almost cry. Such potential gone down the drain. . .
