I bought my wife a Wii complete with the entire Fit bundle. It was certainly more than I intended to spend and dang if it wasn't tough to track down. Hopefully she'll be able to use it with my daughter.
I bought my little girl (16 months) too much, though my favorite is a shirt that only pencil and paper gamers will get. It reads "-4 Size +4 Hide +4 Grapple."

I bought my mum a three stone amethyst and diamond gold ring which I had to order specially as the store didn't normally carry size I rings so they contacted the suppliers and had one sent to them. The process took almost a month because her size is so small but I ordered well in advance to prevent any problems.
I gave her the ring after collecting it and she loved it.
I bought it from Beaverbrooks (a jewellery store chain in the UK) and their service is top notch. Their staff are very knowledgeable about the products and are very helpful and friendly and the jewellery is always wrapped in very classy boxes with ribbon and placed in very nice bags which are again adorned with ribbon.
I've purchased much cheaper items on occasion and the standard of service has been no different.

A "blue" Torpedo Armor Iron Man for my 3-year old son. Every time I asked him what he wanted for Christmas, all he would say is a "blue Iron Man." I don't know where he saw it, but that's all he wants! I'm excited for Santa to bring it to him.

When I asked my 4 year old daughter what she wanted, she said she wanted a "Captain" action figure from WALL-E, because she loves the movie so much. That's what she told the pre-school teacher as well when they wrote letters to Santa.
Nothing else.
So, of course, that means that we had to make sure that we got a hold of one since it was in the Santa letter. And sure enough, he would be one of the more harder action figures to find anywhere. Luckily, I remembered that my wife's work place had a couple on the shelves earlier this year. Took a few minutes of searching the toy aisles there, but I managed to track one that was misplaced (and then spotted the other one a few days later).
Shopping for little children can be pretty easy (and fun). I fear how Christmas shopping will be when she gets a little older.

Wii for the nine-year old girl. Plus the American Idol microphone and game for the Wii. (Ugh.) Legos for the four-year old boy, plus some Wall-E stuff he wants.
A bunch of various small gifts for the significant other. Gift basket for mom. Only buying a gift for my baby niece out of the rest of my extended family.
Pretty mellow, spending-wise. Not feeling the need to go crazy this year.

You bought your wife exercise equipment? I hope that's what she asked for, otherwise you're gonna be looking for some Kobe-sized diamonds to make it up to her.

She likes to exercise, so not much danger there. I'm getting her some games for it as well.

This, this was my reaction.
The best gift this year is the PSP bundle that I bought for my son. He was a good boy so Santa was very generous.

I've gone a little crazy on the gifts for my Mom this year. She's had it really hard lately (a medical problem came back so a lot more tests, her car died, my brother caused more trouble, and generally whatever can go wrong did go wrong) so I spent more than I was planning on. Two of the things she already knows about though.
When I did all my shopping back in October online I was able to get her a $150 bird bath for about $40. I got her some kind of pine tree or something with some Christmas decorations she really wanted on Black Friday. And yesterday I got her the movie Mama Mia on dvd which she'll get to open on Christmas.

I am handing out heaping doses of personal space to my friends and family, and I hope to receive the same.
After 2 hours of either bunch, I'm ready to call it a day.

It was supposed to be for his birthday, but he broke his collarbone the week before.
