She got turned into the super adaptoid and then she exploded. I think that the form she was in changes the rules somewhat when it comes to death, so they might have been able to re-form her from the puddle she turned into.

simple. it wasn't her. why does everyone forget that Yelena was also shown leading a SHIELD team in the Savageland and that this was a skrull plot? the real Yelena wasn't the super-adaptoid.

If that's where they're going with it, then she should've been shown coming off of the Skrull ship with all the other people who were replaced.

More likely, if she were a Skrull, she'd have been killed, as there was no real reason to keep her alive, whereas there was with the others (according to Bendis).

the skrulls thought they killed her. they were wrong. Yelena, who has no real ties w/ the superhero community, went underground when the attempt on her life was made. there's also the possibility that the skrulls didn't really consider her a threat. they could get away with framing Yelena because she's already a cipher. it's like with Mystique. if she says that she didn't commit a crime, who is going to believe her?

good luck coming up with one. most of the spider names are taken. if they changed the color of her costume, she could be the Red Widow.

Technically, Natasha should be the one to change her name since Yelena was her official replacement.

I do like the idea of multiple people running around with the same name, though.

By the way, I called the Yelena-as-Skrull thing way back when SI was first announced. I would like my cookie now.

I think we should form a club. I never joined one of those groups like HEAT or the Dazzler Fan Group or anything like that, but I think this is a worthy cause.

I don't see what's wrong with having multiple characters with the same name. It works for the Flashes and Green Lantern Corps over in DC. There's already like 10 "Spider-Woman".

no it doesn't. multiple flashs suck @$$. and the Green Lanterns are part of the Green Lantern corps.
