I know the site gets about as much traffic as an Amish freeway, but I saw that David Nakayama did an interview over at Comicon's Pulse:

If nothing else, the interview is entertaining because Jen Contino doesn't seem to get that Big Hero 6 aren't "all-new characters."

Also, I picked up Big Hero 6 #4 last week and thought it was a blast. After a promising start in issue #1, Claremont really went off the rails in issues #2 and #3 -- but things seem to get back on track here. There's plenty of action and solid characterization . . . and an unexpected, out-of-left-field surprise on the last page. Now that Claremont has gotten his obligatory "super-heroes playing sports" issues out of the way, the series is finally living up to its potential.

Here's hoping that issue #5 ends on a high note. Although the sales numbers probably don't warrant another series, I hope to see the team make a cameo in another book in the near future -- preferably with more Nakayama art!

I agree that issues 2 and 3 were a bit slow. But I love old school character building story arcs. I wish more team books did them..slow issues, with down time.

I think Nakayama's art is/was perfect for the series.

I also liked the character building aspects of BH6 #2 and #3.

Especially not being overly familiar with the characters. The handbook pages helped.

The book has been great and David Nakayama is a great artist. I want to see him get more work.
