Boy, could they have sucked The Dark Knight's cock any harder?

You know, I like Guardians of the Galaxy a lot. It is a great, fun book.

But Secret Six is so much better.

Boy, could they have sucked The Dark Knight's cock any harder?

Not for nothing, but I just saw The Dark Knight for the first time this past Saturday and while I thought it was a good movie, I did not get what the hysteria was all about.

But I totally agree with IGN's Best Artist choice!:

The best projects in the comic book industry are defined by the synergy between a writer and artist. With J. Michael Straczynski penning Thor scripts that focus less on battles and more on slow-burn character development, Olivier Coipel is the perfect fit. Sure, he can mash the toys together with the best of them, but Coipel's ability to capture the majesty of the new Asgard as well as the emotions of the Gods as they discover their new world is pitch perfect. Playing with a wide canvas, Coipel often works with the biggest panels possible - for drama or action, making a world that we've seen many times seem that much bigger. With scripts and support (courtesy most often of Mark Morales and Laura Martin) of the highest caliber, Coipel's art has become a benchmark for composition, storytelling and atmosphere.

I still say that Robert Downey Jr. was a much, MUCH better Tony Stark/Iron Man than Christian Bale was as Bruce Wayne/Batman....

EDIT: Russian cosmonouat telepathic dog.

The amount of WIN there is just too much even for Gail :)

Aw, I love those writers in that category. To be there with Cornell, Abnett and Lanning really IS a thrill.

Curse you, Guardians of the Galaxy! :)

It was a joke really because what does any movie have with comic stories. The award should only for comics medium.

The Joker isnt anything special in Bat comics these days. Red Skull should have won.

Only thing i got was Gaurdians,Cap America arc being the best.

The Dark Knight is way too overrated. It should never be more about The Joker than fricking Batman....

That is why I dont think Dark Knght is a good superhero movie. The joker is the one who got all the press and is the one everyone talks about....In all these discussions about TDK, notice how much the discussion focuses on the joker?

No wonder we get things like Dr. Light raping people and Superboy punching people's heads off...When we flock and rewards depictions of savagery and hold up the joker as a classic villain, what are writers supposed to think?

EDIT: Let's not forget the WALKING TREE. Take that LotR!!!

You know, I thought Dark Knight was a superior film, but I agree, regarding those two actors.

I also think the dark knight is in another League (pun intended) altogether. iron man was a bit of fun in the middle part of the movie.

seen TDK 6 times in the movies.
seen iron man once

Newsarama done a poll on which movie is better, The dark knight is about 3 thousand votes ahead of iron man.

As i said, it shouldn't even be a contest. because there is no contest.

Problem is that "most popular" doesn't mean "best."

It's so funny to me how people on message board everywhere who think The Dark Knight is the most brilliant film ever made go to such lengths to convince everyone else to agree instead of allowing them to have their own opinions about it. It's not like The Dark Knight is in any danger whatsoever from those who didn't think it was the second coming. It already made more money than God.

Sad thing is, those who think it's overrated do the exact same thing.

I only posted my opinion because I was told that The Dark Knight would be the besti comic film I've ever seen and it wasn't. I don't need to convince anyone else. I'm content with being in the minority.

Yeah, and I wasn't referring to you. I liked the movie, and I know what I liked about the movie. I can understand if people don't have my views, and in points I can agree with them but it may not affect my viewing as much as it does theirs. I think some just get angry and insulted sometimes when opinions are different, and it's sad.

Its unfair to compare Bale work to RDJ. Bale's movie was only really about how kewl his nemesis the sick killer was. It was barely about Batman or Bruce.

Iron Man was fun and good because they build it totally around Stark/IM. RDJ had it easy to shine then. He is good actor but Bale is much more talented.

Sure he hasnt had many movies to show that yet.

You HAVE seen Downey's prior performances, right?

This is the 2ND time Bale has portrayed Bruce Wayne and for the second straight time, his Bruce/Batman doesn't hold a candle to either the animated series or even Keaton's portrayal....
